Archive v1.2 -- Narratives & Behind the Lore

The archive has crossed a threshold. It's no longer purely a reference document. It now contains the stories themselves.

Collected Stories of Auryn

The narratives section is fundamentally different from everything else in the archive. Where Public Records and Classified Records present themselves as institutional documents, the narratives section contains fiction set in the Auryn Galaxy: short stories, novellas, and eventually films.

Each narrative is paired with a metadata card that provides context without spoiling. The stories can be read independently, but they gain resonance when read alongside the archival documents that share their subject matter.

The first entries include "The Last Signal" (written) and "Signal Burns" (film).

Behind the Lore

This section breaks the fourth wall entirely. Behind the Lore essays are written from outside the fiction, by the author, about the process of building the Auryn Galaxy. They're the archaeologist's field notes.

Three inaugural essays cover the creation of the galaxy itself, the design philosophy behind the clearance system, and the research methodology that grounds the fiction in real science.
